Clemson Cooperative Extension employs Extension Agents who work closely with state extension specialists and researchers located on the Clemson University Campus and at the various Cooperative Extension Research and Education Centers located across the state.

Your local Extension Agents provide expertise in   Agronomic Crops, Economic and Community Development, Food Safety and Nutrition, 4-H Youth Development, Horticulture, Livestock and Forages,  and Forestry and Natural Resources

An Important Message

The Fairfield County Clemson Extension office is temporarily closed due to building maintenance. We are temporarily located at the Richland County Extension Office, 900 Clemson Road, Columbia, SC 29229.

For information about soil samples, general agriculture, gardening, nutrition, forestry, and 4H, call 803 865 1216, ext. 124.

A soil sample kiosk has been placed at the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce located at 120 North Congress Street for your convenience. You may leave your soil sample(s) and fees at the kiosk.  Our staff members will pick up your samples and fees at least once a week for processing until we are able to return to the building.
