Clemson Extension agents with primary Youth Development responsibilities work closely with state extension specialists and researchers located on campus and at the various research and education centers located across the state. They provide expertise in topics including animal agriculture and veterinary science, natural resources and the environment, gardening, leadership and citizenship, personal growth and development, and science, engineering and technology.

Collins Park Junior Master Gardener Club:
Members plant flowers and vegetables in raised beds and complete a gardening lesson at each meeting.
Backyard Livestock Club:
Meetings are at the Horry County Extension office and at local farms. Members learn about the basic health of livestock, caring for livestock, and livestock products.
Barn Kids 4-H Club:
This is a general club formed out the Vines and Branches home school group. They cover an array of different topics such as gardening, horses, livestock, etc.
Coastal 4-H Club:
This is a general club in Pawley’s Island that covers an array of different topics, goes on several interactive field trips, and completes community service projects.
Sew to Grow Sewing Club:
This is a sewing club held at the Horry County Extension Office where 4-Hers learn the basics of hand sewing and using a sewing machine. There will be certain activities for beginner and advanced sewers to complete. Some projects are entered into the Eastern Carolina Agricultural Fair.
This club meets at the Horry County Extension Office to work on woodworking projects. Previous projects have included jellybean dispensers, stools, birdhouses, and toolboxes. Some projects are entered into the Eastern Carolina Agricultural Fair.
This club will meet once a month to learn about different species of wildlife. Guest speakers will range from DNR, trainers, Alligator Adventure, etc. and field trips will be planned to local wildlife exhibits.
Heart 4-H Adventures Club:
This general club was formed out of the Heart homeschool group. They meet at Christ Community Church in Conway to cover an array of topics such as forestry, nutrition, hiking, mechanics, and fishing.
