Clemson Extension employs Extension Agents who work closely with state extension specialists and researchers located on campus and at the various research and education centers located across the state.  Your local Extension Agents provide expertise in Agronomic Crops, Economic & Community Development, Food Safety & Nutrition, 4-H, Horticulture, Livestock & Forages, and Natural Resources.

Honeybees at hive opening
  • The Mid-State Beekeepers Association meets the first Tuesday of every month at 7 pm in the Lexington County Council chambers on the second floor of the Lexington County Administration Building at 212 South Lake Drive, Lexington, SC.  Meetings cover information for the beginner as well as the veteran beekeeper. Anyone interested in beekeeping and the beekeeping industry may join. Cost to join MSBA is $10.00 per year. Discount rates are available for couples & families.
