Teen Council was started by four Savannah Valley teens who want to make a positive difference in South Carolina 4-H. Their mission is:
- to promote 4-H on the local and state level.
- to plan and implement fun 4-H activities and programs.
- to get more teens involved in 4-H.
- to learn skills that they will carry to state 4-H leadership and throughout their lives and careers (event planning, resume' writing, serving as officers, etc).
Currently, Teen Council meets at the Orangeburg County Extension Office, 4:15 on the first Wednesday of each month.
All teens, ages 14-19, are invited and welcome to join!Teen Council Application Form (print and send to the 4-H office): 1550 Henley St., Ste 200, Orangeburg, SC 29115)
