Saluda County 4-H Program

Clemson Extension agents with primary Youth Development responsibilities work closely with state extension specialists and researchers located on campus and at the various research and education centers located across the state.

They provide expertise in topics including animal agriculture and veterinary science, natural resources and the environment, gardening, leadership and citizenship, personal growth and development, and science, engineering and technology.

Kids in the Kitchen - June 23, 24, & 25, 2015
Time: Morning classes 10 am to 12 noon/Afternoon classes 2pm - 4 pm
Where: Saluda Extension Office
Cost: $20 for 4-H Members/$30 for Non-members
Ages: 5 to 12
4H2O Camp  - June 9 - 12, 2015
Time: 9am - 3:30 pm
Where: Greenwood State Park (Limited rides are available from Saluda)
Costs: $75 for 4-H Members/$85 for Non-members
Ages: 10 to 13 (Must be able to swim)
Summer Sewing
Beginners Sewing -- August 4, 5, & 6, 2015
Time: Morning classes 9am to noon/ Afternoon classes 1pm to 4pm
Costs: $20 for 4-H Members/$30 for Non-members
Ages: 9 and up
Advanced Sewing -- July 23, 2015
Time: 9am to 3pm (Bring your own lunch/ drinks provided)
Costs: $20 for 4-H Members/$30 for Non-members
Ages: 10 and up
4-H Shooting Sports Camp
July 25, 2015 for 4th to 8th grades
August 1, 2015 fro grades 9th to 12th
Costs: $30 for 4-H members and $40 for Non-members
All classes are on a first come first serve basis.  Class sizes are limited, so sign up early.  The 4-H Program is for youth ages 5 to 19 regardless of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation or marital or family statue.
