Clemson Extension employs Extension Agents who work closely with state extension specialists and researchers located on campus and at the various research and education centers located across the state. Your local Extension Agents provide expertise in the following program areas:

Economic & Community Development: Town planning, leadership & entrepreneurial trining, economic development and analysis and more >>
Food Nutrition & Safety: Safe food-handling educaiton & training for individuals, restaurants and commercial food processors and more >>
Forestry & Natural Resources: Forest management, health, products and taxation; impacts of development on water quality & watershed
Horticulture: Fruits and vegetables, landscape, turf, ornamental plants, issues related to home gardening or commercial production and more >>
Livestock & Forages: Beef cattle, dairy cattle, equine, small ruminant, poultry and pork production; grazing and hay crops and more >>
Row Crops (Agronomy): Crop production, pest management, harvesting, and post-harvesting processes of soybeans, corn, tobacco and more >>
Water Resources: Education and services in such water-based environmental and ecological sciences as watershed management, surface hydrology, groundwater dynamics, soil and water conservation, stormwater control, water quality protection, and numerous applied issues related to agricultural practices.
