Flea BeetleFlea beetles are about 1/12 of an inch long, shiny black in color, and feed on the leaves of several vegetable and ornamental plants. Adults chew tiny holes in leaves and are often responsible for transmitting bacterial and viral plant diseases. Feeding begins in early spring and you can expect up to four generations per year.

Control: Non-chemical control is difficult. Encourage beneficial predators. Insecticides are available.
