Clemson Extension Master Gardeners in Greenville County

The Master Gardener training class in Greenville County is typically
held from October to February each year. Class sessions are 3.5 hours
per week for 17 weeks
and are held on Thursdays at the
Greenville County
Extension Office.
Enrollees in the course are invited to join
The Greater Greenville Master Gardener Association (GGMGA),
an educational, non-profit service organization consisting of certified
Clemson Extension Master Gardeners. GGMGA works in partnership with the
Clemson University Extension Office as a service arm of Extension
Horticulture providing non-biased, research- based horticultural
information to diverse groups of people within the Greenville County.
What really sets Master Gardeners apart from
other home gardeners is their special training in horticulture and their
volunteer work in the community.
GGMGA has an excellent and highly informative newsletter published bimonthly called The Grapevine.
