Future Plans

Dr. Lippert is currently working with the Costa Rica Ministry of Education to add other sister schools which will be paired with additional South Carolina schools. We plan to expand this program to include at least 20 schools (10 in South Carolina and 10 in Costa Rica).

In addition, we hope to incorporate the use of Webcams so the students can view and speak with each other live over the Web. This component is not essential for the program's success but it will contribute an exciting aspect for the exchange.

We have had teacher exchanges between sister schools in the past and this form of exchange will certainly continue. Arrangements are made between each pair of schools with assistance, as needed, from Bob Lippert   and Carlos Rojas. Exchanges of students are always possible but have not yet occurred.
