| Number of Programs |
The total number of programs you participated in during the
month in each program type. If you worked on a Community
Beautification project or met with a committee 3 times that would
count as 3 programs under Community Beautification. |
| Number of Hours |
The total number of hours you worked on projects in a given
program area during that month. |
| Number of Contacts |
The number of persons you worked with, assisted, or taught in
the program area during the month. Phone calls count as well
as personal letters and face to face visits. Do not count
County Extension personnel or other Master Gardeners. |
| Number of Miles Driven |
The number of miles you drove in your personal vehicle to make a
home visit, attend a club meeting, or work on a project.
Miles to the Extension Office for phone assistance are not
counted. |

| Program Types: |
| Office Phones |
Time spent in the office answering phone calls and walk-in
questions. 1 program per day (don't count 2 programs if you
leave for lunch and come back). |
| Home Visits |
Count 1 program for each home visit made to help solve a garden
or landscape problem. |
| Comm. Beaut. |
Count 1 program for each day or portion of a day spent working
on Community Beautification projects. This includes
committee meetings as well as time spent planning the project and
picking up material for the project. |
| Fairs/Events |
Count 1 program for each day or portion of a day spent at a fair
or other community event manning a Master Gardener or Extension
booth or display. Time spent manning a booth for a nursery
or other for-profit business does not count. |
| K-12 School |
Count 1 program for each class presentation (to students or
teachers). |
| 4-H |
Count 1 program for each day or portion of a day spent working
with 4-H members. Include time spent in preparation. |
| Club Mtgs |
Count 1 program for each presentation to garden clubs, civic
clubs, and other club meetings. |
| News Articles |
Count 1 program for each MG news article written for either the
local newspaper, a magazine, or a MG newsletter. |
| MG Assoc Admin |
Count 1 program for each day or portion of a day spent working
on the organization or administration of the Master Gardener
Association. |
