A former senior faculty member in the School of Architecture, Gordon Patterson witnessed the program evolve over 23 years to a state of excellence. In addition to teaching, Patterson maintained a private practice that was grounded in functional and community-based architecture ranging from medical offices to residences. Ha has also developed master plans for research and education facilities and has been involved in various community projects, including developing policies to improve access to public buildings for disabled individuals.
