Mandy Ferguson grew up in the forests and fields surrounding her home outside Liberty, S.C. There, she developed a love of the natural world and art that would follow her into adulthood. Initially finishing college with a Bachelor of Science, her ongoing interest in the arts eventually led her to obtain a Bachelor in Fine Art (BFA) from Converse College in Spartanburg, S.C. She completed her Master of Fine Arts degree at Clemson University with an emphasis in printmaking shortly after receiving her BFA. Before joining the Art Faculty in the Department of Art at Clemson University in Clemson S.C. She has exhibited her prints throughout the Southeast, nationally and internationally. Her eclectic interest in the visual arts is realized through her prints, which combine photographs, drawings and printmaking into works that explore the connections between people and their environment.
