Jessica Foster is a first-year Ph.D. student in Digital History, focusing on European intellectual history and Holocaust studies. She received her B.A. in History from Furman University and her M.A. in History from Clemson University. Her research uses philosophic inquiry and digital methodologies to explore perceptions of the body and self-preservation in the contemporary and postwar writings of Holocaust victims.
