Mentoring & Tutoring

PEER/WISE offers many mentoring opportunities for new students as well as current students.

Our mentoring programs connect freshman and transfer students in the College of Engineering, Computing, and Applied Sciences (CECAS) with an upperclassman student with the same, or similar, major. Mentors serve as a support to help you transition to college and your CECAS major. Mentors host social and professional activities throughout the fall and spring semesters.

If you are interested in participating please sign up by visiting our PEER/WISE table or through our online form.

E-Mentoring
As a participant, you can request a professional mentor in the field of engineering and science. E-mentors are available to answer questions about their work experience and to offer guidance, support and encouragement via e-mail. High school students may request a college mentor to answer their questions. These mentors are selected from current Clemson students who are majoring in engineering or science

Clemson also offers the Academic Support Center which has free programs and services that help students with classes, stress management, time management, etc.
