Mentoring & Tutoring

PEER & WISE Mentoring

students in Peer and WiseOur mentoring programs connect freshmen and transfer students in the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences (CECAS) with an upperclassman with the same, or similar, major. Mentors serve as support to support your transition to college and your CECAS major. Mentors host social and professional activities throughout the fall and spring semesters.

We have mentors who can assist in Engineering and Computer Science fields.

As a participant, you can request a professional mentor in the field of engineering and science. E-mentors are available to answer questions about their work experience and to offer guidance, support, and encouragement via e-mail. High school students may request a college mentor to answer their questions. We select these mentors from current Clemson students who are majoring in engineering or science.

Clemson also offers the Academic Support Center, which has free programs and services that help students with classes, stress management, time management, etc.
