Philip D. Bunn, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Fellow for the Department of Political Science and the CISC. Before coming to Clemson University, he lectured for the Integrated Liberal Studies program and the Political Science Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Bunn earned his B.A. in Government and Political Philosophy from Patrick Henry College and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from UW-Madison.

Bunn's research interests include technology and liberty, liberalism and politics and literature. His research has appeared in Political Research Quarterly, the Political Science Reviewer, Perspectives on Political Science and American Political Thought. He is currently at work on a manuscript project, The Heart of a Machine: Technological Threats to Liberty, a study of critical assessments of technology within the liberal tradition.
