Controller's Office

Reports and Schedules

The Clemson University Controller’s Office manages the financial data for several annual reports and schedules. These reports and schedules provide essential data and figures about the economic outlook of the University and the ways it works diligently to manage the money it receives, including tuition payments and donor sponsorships.

Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports and Supplemental Schedules

The Clemson University Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFR) provides a detailed synopsis of how Clemson University is performing as a South Carolina state institution each year. This report includes information about our strategic plan, updates from our leaders and the required annual financial audit details for public review. The Controller’s Office also provides a supplemental schedule with each annual report. After five years, these reports are archived in Tiger Prints.

HEERF Reports

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, or CARES Act, was passed by Congress on March 27, 2020. Part of this funding was given to the Office of Postsecondary Education as the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund, or HEERF. In total, three HEERF funds were authorized to support higher education institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic (HEERF I, HEERF II and HEERF III). Clemson University provides the required reporting for the usage of this funding.

Closing Schedules

As the accounting hub of Clemson University, the Controller’s Office provides essential closing schedules to assist the expansive network of departments that maintain the financial budgets and records for the academic and administrative outlets of the University. The Fiscal Year Closing schedule is established to communicate and assist in planning processes for each fiscal year-end closing and the reporting that must be completed in time for the annual auditing.
