Welcome to the Office of the Provost
The Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost is the University's chief academic officer and acts on behalf of the president in his absence. The Office of the Provost is responsible for all academic activities at the University. Over 30 units report to the provost, including Clemson's seven academic colleges, the Graduate School, Undergraduate Studies, and the Libraries.
The Office of the Provost ensures academic excellence by promoting a championship culture while upholding the following three fundamental pillars of Clemson Elevate, our bold strategic plan, to drive all we do including:

Stay current on all the important dates and deadlines concerning regular faculty, board and trustee meetings, appointments, commencement, sabbaticals and other dates for the academic year.

Since fall 2020, workflows for faculty annual evaluations (goals, activity reporting, teaching effectiveness presentations, etc.), and TPR (promotion, tenure, and reappointment) have been administered from one centralized system for the entire campus. Faculty Success (formerly Digital Measures) by Watermark is the system we use for all of these workflows.
