Junior Master Gardener Program Hatcher Garden, Clemson University Extension Service and 4-H are offering a Spring - Junior Master Gardener class. The program is for children in grades 3-5 and is part of the Golden Ray series focusing on "Creating a Vegetable Garden". The class will begin on April 7 and will end on June 30, meeting weekly on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Children are involved both in a classroom setting and the "ahdns-on" aspects of vegetable gardening from planting to harvesting. Class size is intentionally small. Call today to register, (864)596-2993. Cost is $40 per child. Class will be held on the grounds of Hatcher Garden and will include a community service project which will be to "Plant a Row for the Hungry".
