Funding for Global Initiatives

Funding Opportunities

The Bank of America Curriculum Project supports curriculum development in the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business, focusing on integrating global issues throughout the College's curriculum. Faculty can seek funding to support future curriculum revision or course development, and expenditures may include travel. Examples of spending from past funded projects include a faculty stipend for developing a course with a global focus, transportation to explore a company site visit for a future course and the cost of travel for a site visit abroad to develop a study abroad course.

The Bank of America Global Leadership Forum supports the expenditures of bringing global business leaders to campus who are shaping the global economy. Funds can support the cost of bringing these speakers to campus, such as honoraria, travel and lodging and expenses necessary to host events, such as meals, refreshments and publicity.

Application Process

Faculty should submit their proposals for either the Bank of America Curriculum Project or the Bank of America Global Leadership Forum for committee review by the following deadlines:

  • Fall Deadline - Sept. 1
  • Spring Deadline - April 1

Recipients will be emailed about their award status and provided with an account string for processing expenditures. Recipients will have 8-10 months to use funding upon award confirmation. The committee will consider the status of past awards in the proposal review process.

Apply now for funds from the Bank of America Curriculum Project or the Bank of America Global Leadership Forum account.
