Clemson Stride

Clemson University’s labs and classrooms buzz daily with the excitement of discoveries. As a recipient of a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant for Accelerating Research Translation (ART), Clemson is creating a model for innovation nationwide.

One of eighteen universities to receive this inaugural award, Clemson is investing in activities essential to moving research results to practice, accelerating the pace and scale of translational research that will grow the nation’s economy and strategically allocating resources to projects showing promise to make a significant impact outside the academic realm.

Aligned with Clemson Elevate and NSF ART goals, Clemson STRIDE:

  • Expands the infrastructure for research translation at Clemson.
  • Provides training programs for faculty, post-docs, graduate and undergraduate students.
  • Strengthens the campus culture and environment to encourage, support and celebrate research translation.
