Definitely! If you receive an email from Student Mail Services saying you have MAIL to pickup, you may do so anytime. The mailboxes are located in the Student Union lobby and are available 24/7. Package pickup is only available Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. If you receive an email that says you have a PACKAGE, once reaching the Student Mail Services lobby scan your TigerOne card at one of the two available Package Pickup Kiosks. Select Pickup Now and proceed to the counter. NOTE: Please see the below FAQ as to when your package is ready for pickup.

Will I be notified if I receive any mail or packages?

UPS/USPS/FedEx says my package has been delivered. Can I pick it up now?
Once packages are dropped off, you may receive a notification from UPS, DHL, USPS, or FedEx that your item has been delivered. However, once they are delivered, we must process each item individually. Once you receive an email from Student Mail Services, the item will be ready to pickup.

When can I pickup my mail and packages?
1st Class Mail can be picked up at anytime. Student Mail Service PO Boxes are available for mail pickup 24/7! Package pickup is available Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Once you receive an email from Student Mail Services, your packages and mail will be ready to pickup.
IMPORTANT: We receive hundreds (and during the beginning of the semester, it can be thousands) of items everyday and are working hard to process them as fast as we can. If you are expecting an important item, such as that particular book you need for class or medication, please order as early as possible.

I should have received a package a while ago but haven’t received an email. Where is it?
If the item has a tracking number, you may track it online at www.USPS.com , www.UPS.com , or www.FedEx.com . If the item shows that it has been delivered to Clemson SC 29634 or 29632, and you have not received any notification from us, please contact us. Please note that we are closed on Saturday’s. If an item shows that it has been delivered Saturday, you should receive a notification from Student Mail Services the following Monday.

I’m getting a large item shipped to me. Are there limitations on size?
Nope! We can accept boxes of any size.

Can I have food or perishable items shipped to me?
Yes. Please make sure the package indicates it is a perishable item so it may be stored in a cool area.

I have a package there but can’t stop by. Can a friend pick it up for me?
Sure. Please email us at studpo@clemson.edu from your Clemson email account. Include the name of the person picking up your item. Once they arrive, we will just need to see their TigerOne ID.

I had a package shipped with the wrong name and/or address by mistake. What do I do?
Please notify us ASAP so we can expect the package and set it aside. All items sent with wrong information are subject to be returned to sender due to mailbox turnover. We want to make sure the proper packages are delivered to you.

I’m graduating and/or no longer have a valid mailbox. What happens to the mail and packages that are delivered?
Anything that is sent to Student Mail Services, for customer who no longer have a valid mailbox, will be returned to sender.

Can I purchase money orders or passports?
We do not provide those services at this time. The Clemson US Post Office, located downtown next to the Kangaroo Express/Campus Store, provides passport services.

Can I fax?
Yes! The price is $.50 for every page local (864 area code or toll-free numbers). For long distance, we charge $2.00 for the first page and $.50 for every additional page. Taxes are not included.

I have a package to drop off. Can I do it there?
You may drop off any USPS, UPS, and FedEx packages with prepaid labels. DHL requires a scheduled pickup. They can be reached at 1-800-225-5345. Deadlines for same day pickup are as follows:
- 3 p.m. – USPS and FedEx Ground
- 4 p.m. – UPS and FedEx Express
If you are using a pre-existing account number, blank UPS and FedEx airbills are available. Please note that FedEx Ground requires items to be sent from a FedEx authorized facility OR a scheduled pickup may be made.

Can I purchase packing supplies?
Yes! We have a variety of boxes, envelopes, and packaging material available. Please note that we may not have appropriate material for special size items, such as instruments, large signage, etc. Please contact us for questions.

I won’t be on campus during the summer. Do you have forwarding services?
We do not provide regular forwarding services. Please contact senders to notify them of your current address. If an item was sent by mistake, or you were not able to check before leaving, we can forward any USPS item free of charge. Items delivered by UPS and FedEx will require payment to ship. Please contact us for details.

Can I purchase a mailbox?
Any students, staff, or organizations may purchase a mailbox. Individual students and staff mailboxes are $80 for a full school year or $40 per semester. You may stop by our location to purchase a box. Box purchases are cash or check only. Checks are to be made to Clemson University. If you are an organization, please contact us for pricing. Students living in on-campus housing automatically receive a mailbox and no payment is necessary.

My mailbox requires a key to open. When can I pick it up?
You may stop by Student Mail Services between 8-10 a.m., Monday-Friday to pick up your mailbox key.

What do I do with my key during the summer or when I graduate?
If you are living on campus next semester, you may keep your key. Your mailbox information will rollover. If you are graduating, please drop off your key before you leave campus. You may also mail it to us, as well. If not returned, you may be subject to a non-return fee.
