  • Catalyst  is the Society of Research Administrators International (SRAI) monthly electronic newsletter for professionals in research management and administration. It informs research administrators about conferences, educational opportunities, member achievements, networking, and insights from experts in the field. 
  • Equipping Minoritized and Emerging Research Institutions to Grow their Enterprises (EMERGE) Resource Library is a national, peer-reviewed collection of research enterprise resources focusing on minority-serving institutions (MSIs) and emerging research institutions (ERIs). The library contains resources to strengthen research infrastructure and capacity.
  • NCURA magazine publishes on management, perspectives on federal policy, and the content related to research administrators.
  • NORDP news is a blog for research development professionals.

  • Research Development Review: The NORDP Journal is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to enhancing research development. It covers a wide range of topics related to building research capacity and the impact of research development. 
  • Higher Education Policy is an international, peer-reviewed journal committed to addressing issues in higher education ranging from individual institutions to national and regional level policies.  
  • Journal of Research Administration (JRA) is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the education and the professional development of research administrators. 
  • Research Management Review (RMR) provides a forum for the dissemination of knowledge about the study and practice of the research administration profession. 
  • The Review of Higher Education is a peer-reviewed journal informing scholars, academic leaders, and public policymakers of the issues faced in higher education though peer-reviewed research, scholarly reviews, and theoretical articles. 
  • Journal of Research Management and Administration (JoRMA) is an international, peer-reviewed journal covering all aspects of research management and administration. It publishes articles, essays, and papers for anyone interested in the management of research in any sector or organization.  
  • Research in Higher Education is a peer-reviewed journal publishing empirical research on postsecondary education. It covers topics such as student access, retention, success, faculty issues, institutional assessment, and higher education policy.

  • Certified Research Administrator (CRA) The Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC) offers 10 certificates in the field of research administration and management including: clinical trials research administration, financial management, introduction to research administration and management, leadership, national institutes of health grants fundamental, practice of research administration and management, pre-award, research development, research compliance and integrity, research law.  
  • Certified Pre-Award Research Administrator (CPRA) The Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC) offers a voluntary certification by examination for all pre-award research and sponsored programs administrators. The 3.5-hour computer-based examination consists of a maximum of 200 multiple-choice questions on research partnership and funding, project development and proposal submission, budget design and development, and awards and pre-award compliance considerations. 
  • Certified Financial Research Administrator (CFRA) The Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC) offers a voluntary certification by examination for all financial research and sponsored programs administrators. The 3.5-hour computer-based examination consists of a maximum of 200 multiple-choice questions on governing framework, project costs, reporting, and fiscal compliance.
