
CARE Network
The CARE Network is a service of the Office of Advocacy and Success that offers individualized assistance for all Clemson students by assessing needs, identifying support networks, and offering referrals to campus and community resources.

A cross-section team of campus partners meets weekly to ensure systematic response to students who may be in crisis or whose physical, mental or psychological health condition may directly threaten their safety or the safety of the learning environment.

Threat Assessment
A cross-section team of campus partners meets regularly to assess actual and potential threats reported to Clemson University officials. Together, the team determines the level or severity of each reported potential threat and invokes a course of action based on available information.

The Student Emergency Fund is a university-wide initiative coordinated by the Office of the Dean of Students in close consultation with the Office of Student Financial Aid. The Student Emergency Fund was created to help students with financial assistance in a time of need.

Dean's Certification
Many colleges, universities and professional schools require students to complete a Dean’s Certification Form to be considered for admission into their institutions. Clemson University’s Office of Community and Ethical Standards and the Registrar’s Office are responsible for completing those forms.

The Dean of Students Office is the primary point of contact for the university in the event of a student death. A staff member will make initial contact with the student’s family and provide outreach to friends and ensure support for those impacted.
