The graduate degree in mechanical engineering builds on a strong undergraduate background in mechanical engineering. Subject areas range from manufacturing systems to material processing; mechanics of materials to thermodynamics; dynamic systems and controls to engineering design practice.
Ph.D. students enrolled in this program will have the opportunity to undertake research projects at Clemson University's Dominion Energy Innovation Center in Charleston, which is among the world's most advanced energy testing and research facilities.
