JOSHUA HILLEY is a Systems Programmer in the Machining and Technical Services' Electronics Shop. He regularly consults with faculty, students, and staff to help them develop and maintain software to accomplish their goals.

PROJECTS

LIGNIN PROJECT: Assisted the Lignin project in troubleshooting and updating their Labview control software. Altered existing software to allow for extra functionality and helped add additional controls and instruments to the control system - Dr. Mark Thies, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering

SPOT PROJECT UI: Designed and programmed the touch-screen user interface for the SPOT project, a dog chew toy tester. Modeled the brace to hold the Arduino and touch screen in an enclosure. – David White, Materials Science and Engineering

METHANE MEASUREMENT AUTOMATION: Updated methane measurement project to include automation controls in the Labview software. - Dr. Matias Aguerre, Animal and Veterinary Sciences

FORGE TOUCH-SCREEN INTERFACE: Designed and programmed the touch-screen interface to control an automated forge created for specialty use – David White, Materials Science and Engineering

SOFTWARE TROUBLESHOOTING: Troubleshooting various Labview programs on campus and assisted in getting those projects back up and running properly - Clemson University
