Center for Roofing Innovation and Leadership

A grant from the Roofing Alliance to Clemson University’s Nieri Department of Construction and Real Estate Development allowed for the creation of the Center for Roofing Innovation and Leadership. The center is led by three construction science management faculty members: Associate Department Chair and Associate Professor Dhaval Gajjar, Associate Professor Jason Lucas, and Assistant Professor Vivek Sharma. An industry member-based steering committee assists with oversight and evaluation of Center’s initiatives to ensure they are serving the needs of the industry.

For more than 30 years, the Roofing Alliance has been a driving force behind the progress and innovation of the roofing industry, addressing a wide range of challenges from workforce development and education to advanced roofing technology and groundbreaking research. With an unwavering commitment to shaping the future of the roofing industry, the Roofing Alliance has consistently championed positive transformation, working to enhance the industry's professional image through strategic initiatives and impactful philanthropic efforts.
