The New Student Orientation program at Clemson University is the first step in ensuring that new undergraduate students have a successful transition and integration into college life. The program promotes discussion among parents, new students, continuing students, and faculty and staff on the expectations and experiences of the campus community.
The following is important information regarding registering for New Student Orientation. Please review the following carefully.
Orientation Sign Ups will open Wednesday, April 27 at 9 a.m. You will sign up through the Admitted Student Portal.
After you have signed up for Orientation, you will receive an email that will outline your next steps to complete the virtual component which includes preparing for academic advising, selecting courses, and preparing for student life at Clemson. It is imperative that you monitor your CLEMSON EMAIL for this and other important communications.
You must complete the onboarding process to set up your Clemson username, password and Clemson email address before accessing the New Student Orientation Virtual Platform. Please follow the instructions on the Next Steps tab in your Admitted Student Portal.
The student transition and support fee supports several programs and services outside of the Orientation program that students utilize throughout their time at Clemson. In addition to Orientation, the fee supports Welcome Week, transition and engagement programs, academic advising, retention, academic success, and campus connection initiatives, transfer student services, and family programs including parent and family orientation. The fee is non-refundable.
