Clemson's Welcome Week is the exciting time when new students are arriving on campus for the start of their first semester. The programs and events in Welcome Week are an integral part of your transition to Clemson life. These activities and programs occur during your first week on campus to help you make academic and social connections, which will contribute to your success. At the heart of this program are Clemson’s core values: integrity, honesty and respect.
NOTE: Clemson Welcome Week events are for students only.
Tiger Transition: CU 1000 is the next step in your transition as a new Clemson student. It is a pass/fail no-credit course you are taking your first semester. The course requirements include both online and in-person presentations/events. You can review more information by visiting the Academic Success Center website on the page, Tiger Transition: CU 1000.
Welcome Week events will begin when you move into your campus housing assignment before classes start and will continue through the first day of class for the Fall semester.
The Welcome Week event schedule will be posted later this summer, but we encourage you to go ahead and download the Clemson Events app. To download the app:
Visit the app store on your smartphone and search "Clemson Events" or find it here.
Then search 2021 Freshman or Transfer Orientation Guide.
