Col Christopher Kiser

Professor of Aerospace Studies
Colonel Christopher Kiser reports directly to the president of Clemson University and the Air Force ROTC Commandant. He is responsible for recruiting, training and educating Air Force officer candidates at Clemson University. He is the senior Air Force officer on campus, serving as Detachment Commander and Chairman of the Department of Aerospace Studies, and holds the rank of full professor.
Colonel Kiser graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery and was commissioned through Air Force ROTC at Alabama State University in December 1999. He has 25 years of active-duty service in the Air Force and has served in various positions in Air Mobility Command and U.S. Air Force Headquarters. Colonel Kiser is a master navigator with more than 2,200 hours in the T-43, T-1, C-130E and C-130H. Before this assignment, he served in numerous positions, including his most recent role as Commander of the 515 Air Mobility Group at Yokota Air Base, Japan.
