LSP has given me the opportunity to enhance my leadership skills over the past five semesters in professionalism, communication and organization. My experience with the LSP has been transformative. Through its semesters, mentorship, and collaborative teams, I've gained a deeper understanding of authentic leadership and how to apply it in real-world settings. The program strengthened my communication, strategic thinking, and public speaking; all of which have been invaluable during interviews and professional opportunities. The Leadership Signature Program at the Wilbur O. and Ann Power's College of Business has been instrumental in both my professional and educational development. In our practicum, we experience the successes and failures (lots of them) of leadership development in the classroom setting. We learn about strategic communication, making tough choices, and the importance of honest feedback. I have learned a lot about myself, and I have come to recognize that there is not just one way to lead. - Ryan Smith, COO

LSP has fundamentally altered the way I lead and how I want to be led. Coming into the program, I was entirely naive about my strengths and weaknesses in leadership. I was trying to be everyone's friend, but I was too worried about being perceived as mean. LSP has allowed me to step outside that belief, get a ton of highly relevant and practical leadership experience, and experiment with my leadership in an environment with high expectations, but low consequences. LSP's environment and mentorship have transformed my leadership, shifting my focus from being hyper-fixated on people's opinions to leveraging my relational strengths to achieve measurable results. I have developed skills that will set me apart in the workforce through invaluable professional leadership experience, which will not only benefit me but also the people I lead in the future. - Noah Lloyd, CEO
