Charles Zambito is a Graduate Student working on his MA at Clemson University. He is a TA for HIST-1720 The West and the World I. His main interest lies in Western Europe in the Long Nineteenth Century from 1789-1914. In particular, the build up to World War I and the ideological conflict between the Triple Entente and the Central Powers. He particularly looks at how the countries of the Entente were Liberal powers and the countries of the Central Powers were Conservative, Monarchical, and Traditional powers. He also enjoys studying American Political History, and in particular the first and second party systems and the rise and fall of the Federalist and Whig Parties. Before coming to Clemson, Charles earned his BA at Assumption University in Worcester, MA in 2022.
