Selection
The Selection Committee shall select a maximum of 24 participants from a pool of qualified applicants. Participants will be selected from across the state (and if applicable neighboring states), without regard to socioeconomic level, race, color, sex, religion, disability, and national origin. It is not unusual for candidates to apply more than once before acceptance. Repeat applications are encouraged.
Applicants who meet the eligibility requirements will be evaluated on the information obtained from the application form and references. The final selection will be made from those chosen by the Selection Committee for personal interview.

Applications submitted online to Palmetto LEAF
Early October, 2023
Applicant pool selected for face-to-face interviews will be notified
Mid/late October, 2023
Interviews with selected applicants are conducted

Class is announced
Mid-January 2024
Inaugural Class I Orientation and Recognition at the PLEAF Celebration in the Columbia, SC area
