Overview

Your Opportunity to Earn an Advanced Technical Degree is Here!

Clemson University offers graduate programs developed for working engineers and scientists in the Charleston area. Classes are held at the Zucker Family Graduate Education Center in North Charleston during late afternoons and evenings. Students are not required to travel to Clemson’s main campus.

A variety of courses are offered each semester by Clemson faculty in a traditional face-to-face classroom format and via “real time” streaming to and from Clemson’s main campus.

Some faculty lecture from Clemson and from Charleston on a rotating basis to ensure students on both campuses have an in-person experience with faculty. Recorded lectures are cloud archived for 24/7 retrieval, allowing students to make progress and view class lectures regardless of work-related travel or personal obligations. In addition, faculty post scheduled office hours in order to be available to meet with students one-on-one in North Charleston or via virtual connectivity.

Full-Time Programs

Opportunities for full-time graduate study are available in selected majors in Charleston. Clemson’s Digital Production Arts program is designed for full-time students, with activities throughout the day. Opportunities for full-time graduate study in engineering and science are also available, including opportunities for research at Clemson’s world-class energy facilities in Charleston. Students interested in pursuing full-time graduate study in engineering and science should consult with an adviser to learn more.
