Girl Scouts & Friends

Group of young students in Freeman Hall.

Event Overview

This annual event is a collaboration with the Girls Scouts of South Carolina Mountains to Midlands and the Women in Science and Engineering Program (WISE). This year's theme is "Reimagining the Possible". Our sessions will focus on engineering and computer science as it relates to solving the problems of tomorrow.

"Engineers create new possibilities all the time. From green buildings to fuel-efficient cars to life-saving vaccines, engineers work together to develop new technologies, products and opportunities that change how we live. Let’s inspire the next generation by celebrating all the ways engineers turn dreams into reality by reimagining what seems impossible to become the Possible!" - Discover E
