Erwin Center for Brand Communications

Brand Experiences and Professional Development

The Erwin Center prepares students through access to brand leaders by connecting classroom learning with real-world industry experience. Our graduates are ready and equipped to make an immediate impact. We offer a 15-credit-hour Brand Communications minor that integrates industry professionals in the classroom, as well as several career networking and experiential industry opportunities.

Brand projects

Through course project challenges and Cadency, the student-led brand consulting firm, students work alongside brand partners to provide solutions to real business problems through brand challenges. Students have delivered high-level brand strategy presentations to CEOs as well as full-scale rebrands for numerous marketing leaders.

Career discovery trips

Networking trips are offered every semester. These experiences provide students with the chance to meet with alumni, learn more about the industry and provide opportunities for job recruitment and placement. Previously, students have visited brands and agencies in Austin, Atlanta, Chicago, NYC, Portland and Seattle.
