Recertification
Prior to the expiration date shown on CSPR identification cards, Certified Stormwater Plan Reviewers are required by SC DES to complete a DES approved professional development training in order to be recertified. Recertification does not require testing for any CSPR personnel who complete the approved training prior to a person's certification expiration date. Recertification is not permitted by persons who are not currently certified, because either they have never completed CSPR certification or they have let their certification lapse.
Any CSPR whose certification shows an expiration in 2026 and still desire to review stormwater plans must become recertified by attending a recertification course.
