
The Clemson University Faculty Senate is a long-standing organization that gives faculty a collective voice in shaping the academic experience at Clemson. Established under Article II of the Constitution of the Faculty of Clemson University, the Faculty Senate serves as the official representative body for faculty and works closely with university leadership to recommend new policies and improvements to existing ones. Through this work, the Senate helps influence decisions that affect teaching, learning, and campus life. For more than fifty years, the Faculty Senate has supported initiatives that strengthen the university community, promote shared governance, and enhance the overall experience for both faculty and students at Clemson University.
