University Resources
Human Resources has information about Employee Tuition Assistance Program (ETAP), the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), State Insurance Benefits Plans, Holidays and Leave, and Retirement. Learn more on the HR Benefits Page.
Employee Wellness, which can be accessed through Clemson HR’s benefits site, supports employee well-being through a variety of wellness resources. Together, these services promote balance, resilience, and overall health for all employees.
Resources include:
- Financial Wellness - links to third-party resources to support financial well-being
- Clemson Rural Health - low-cost health care including traditional medical visits and complementary approaches like dietetics and nutrition, social work, and health coaching and education.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - free counseling and referral services for employees and their families
- Campus Recreation - programs and facilities focused on fitness and well-being (employees can pay for a membership as a deduction from their pay check)
- Outdoor Wellness Activities - includes freely accessible outdoor recreational spaces and facilities
Additional resources available to employees:
Therapy Assistance Online, or TAO, is a private, online platform that includes over 150 brief, effective, educational sessions covering over 50 common topics and skills related to mental health, wellness and substance use issues. TAO includes interactive sessions, mindfulness exercises and practice tools all aimed at helping you achieve your goals.
Available 24 hours/7 days a week, TAO is available to Clemson University students and employees at no cost. Visit the Therapy Assistance Online (TAO) website for more information.
Tigers Together Advocacy Training is Clemson’s Suicide Prevention Advocate Training based on Campus Connect, an experiential training that enhances advocates' knowledge, awareness, and skills concerning college student suicide. SC PEBA
SC PEBA (the South Carolina Public Employee Benefit Authority) is the entity through which health insurance and retirement benefits at Clemson are provided.
