Resources & Materials
We’re here to support you in your SC Adopt-a-Stream monitoring efforts!
On this page, you’ll find many resources and materials organized by protocol, as well as videos to help guide you through monitoring procedures, Database navigation, and more. To start, here are a few resources that may be of use to all volunteers:
- Database: Certified volunteers must register in the SC Adopt-a-Stream Database to enter data. Please refer to the last chapter of your SC Adopt-a-Stream Handbook (PDF) or the Database FAQ page for detailed instructions. Contact Emily Anderson at esa2@clemson.edu with any questions.
- Monitoring Kits: Complete Freshwater and Macroinvertebrate monitoring kits can be purchased through the USC Upstate Marketplace or assembled using the FW Supply List or Macro Supply List. Saltwater kits can be assembled using the SW Supply List. Contact a State Team member for assistance.
- SC Watershed Atlas: Identify and explore your watershed using the SC Watershed Atlas.
- Gear: Visit the SC Adopt-a-Stream Marketplace to find full-color handbooks, supplies, t-shirts, and more!
