Days of Service

Volunteer in the Upstate with a Day of Service!

Days of Service connect Clemson students, faculty, and staff with local community agencies.  There are many opportunities throughout the year to get engaged!

Looking to join with hundreds of your Tiger Peers? Check out the Fall In Day of Service or the MLK Day of Service.

No plans on Saturdays? See Tigers Serve to make some plans.

No matter what, there’s a day of service for you!

Participants and facilitators will...

  • Gain awareness of the social issues and needs of the Clemson/surrounding community.
  • Be able to articulate issues impacting your community and the world
  • Gain awareness of local community resources
  • Take initiative to act on local issues in the Upstate

At all of our days of service, students will have access to transportation to and from the University campus and the service site.

  • Fall in Day of Service

The Fall In Day of Service is our Fall Semester campus-wide day of service. We work with local non-profits and community agencies on projects that these organizations may not otherwise have time for.

    Participant Information:

Participants can choose the project that best meets your availability and interest in community engagement. Transportation will be provided to and from the service sites.

Registration will open early in the Fall semester and is first come, first serve. We cannot register groups at this time, however, a group will be able to see the number of spots remaining at each site and register individually at the same location to be placed together.

  • MLK Day of Service

The MLK Day of Service is the Spring Semester campus-wide day of service. We partner with the Harvey and Lucinda Gantt Multicultural Center as part of Clemson’s MLK Celebration. The MLK Day of Service is intended to be a day “on” to celebrate MLK’s legacy and support his belief in the creation of a beloved community.

This year’s MLK Day of Service will be held on Monday, January 15 from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Student volunteers will serve with six community partners in Clemson, Central. Pendleton, and Anderson. Breakfast and transportation will be provided. To sign-up to volunteer fill out the MLK Day of Service 2024 - Volunteer Sign-Up Form. Spots are limited so be sure to sign up soon!

  • Tigers Serve

Join us on select Saturdays each semester with our Tigers Serve events! Take your weekend to the next level by volunteering with local community agencies. Lunch and transportation to and from the service site will be provided.

Check back this summer for more information of fall events!

    Participant Information

Participation on a Tigers Serve event is first-come, first-serve. The registration links will open at the beginning of each semester. We ask that participants clear their schedules and agree to engage in the full service time to meet community partners’ needs.

If you need to cancel your participation, please do so within 72 hours of the event so we can find a replacement.
