Days of Service

Volunteer in the Upstate with a Day of Service!

Days of Service connect Clemson students, faculty, and staff with local community agencies.  There are many opportunities throughout the year to get engaged!

Looking to serve with your Tiger Peers? Check out our large Fall In Day of Service or the MLK Day of Service.

Participants and facilitators will...

  • Gain awareness of the community issues and needs of the Clemson/surrounding area
  • Be able to articulate issues impacting their community and the world
  • Gain awareness of local community resources
  • Take initiative to act on local issues in the Upstate

At our large Days of Service, students will have access to transportation to and from the University campus and the service site.

  • Fall in Day of Service

The Fall In Day of Service is our Fall Semester campuswide day of service. We work with local non-profits and community agencies on projects that these organizations may not otherwise have time for.

    Participant Information:

The Fall In Day of Service is our Fall Semester campus-wide day of service. We work with local nonprofits and community agencies on projects that these organizations may not otherwise have time for.

Participants can choose the project that best meets their availability and interest in community engagement. Transportation will be provided to and from the service sites.

Registration will open early in the Fall semester and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot register groups at this time; however, a group will be able to see the number of spots remaining at each site and register individually at the same location to be placed together. • MLK Day of Service

The MLK Day of Service is the Spring Semester campus-wide day of service. This Day of Service is intended to be a day “on” to celebrate MLK’s legacy and support his belief in the creation of a beloved community.

This year’s MLK Day of Service will be held on Monday, January 19 , from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Student volunteers will serve with community partners in Clemson, Central, Pendleton, and Anderson. Transportation to sites with a *New*Community Lunch following service will be provided. Check out the link in bio @clemson_clse on Instagram to sign up!

  • Tigers Serve

Have a small group or student organization interested in serving? We would love to partner with you! We will work with you to find a Community Partner whose mission is one you'd like to support, or connect you with a partner you already have in mind!

We ask that your group have a minimum of 8 volunteers, with at least one person willing to participate in a short facilitator training prior to service. If you are interested or have any questions, please reach out to Molly Yonker
