How to Sign Up for Orientation
Begin Your Orientation Experience
All new students starting at Clemson in Fall, Spring or Summer are required to sign-up for New Student Orientation. Bridge to Clemson students will sign-up and complete their orientation at Tri-County Technical College.
Orientation sign-ups open April 15 for Summer and Fall students and the first Wednesday of December for Spring students.
There are two steps to the sign-up process:
- Complete a simple sign-up form in your Clemson admissions portal.
- Pay the non-refundable student transition and support fee.

Completing the sign-up form in your Clemson admissions portal will allow you to begin the other steps in the Orientation process, including:
- Accessing your Virtual Orientation modules
- Completing your pre-advising form
- Scheduling your advising appointment
- Selecting a course registration day and time
- Signing up for Ready, Set, Roar! (supplemental in-person experience)
We encourage you to sign up for Orientation early so that you have plenty of time to complete the steps above.

Student Transition and Support Fee
After signing up for Orientation, you will be directed to pay the nonrefundable student transition and support fee.

The student transition and support fee supports several programs and services that students use throughout their time at Clemson including Orientation, Weeks of Welcome, transition and engagement programs, academic advising, retention programs, academic success, campus connection initiatives, transfer student services and family programs. This fee is mandatory.
