Ready, Set, Roar!

Ready, Set, Roar! is a supplemental in-person experience at Clemson University designed to orient students and guests to campus, their academic programs and connect them with other incoming Clemson Tigers. Get excited about the start of your Clemson Journey and come visit your new home as an enrolling student!

Ready, Set, Roar! Date and Schedules

Spring 2027 Ready, Set, Roar! will be on January 5. For an interactive schedule to use during the event, download the Guidebook app. Once downloaded, search for “Ready, Set, Roar!” to find your specific event guide.

Ready, Set, Roar! Details

Event Cost

Ready, Set, Roar! is a supplemental Orientation Experience with a separate cost from the Student Transition and Support Fee that is collected upon signing up for Orientation. The cost of attendance for students and guests is $40.

Parking

All Ready, Set, Roar! parking will be in the R9 and R10 parking lot (PDF) for the duration of the program. Parking elsewhere on campus may result in a parking ticket. A shuttle will transport you from parking to check-in. We will have signs around campus to direct you to the correct parking lot and help you avoid construction on campus.

Housing Check-In

After you park in the designated parking lot for the event, Orientation Ambassadors will guide you to Douthit Hills to check into your overnight housing accommodations (students only). 

Event Check-In

Upon your arrival to Memorial Auditorium, you’ll provide your name to check in to the event, receive a name tag, and have the option to grab some coffee, use the restroom and meet those around you before the opening session begins. Event check-in begins at 8 a.m. and concludes at 9 a.m.

Parking, Traveling and Accommodations

What To Bring

  • Reusable water bottle
  • Good walking shoes for campus exploration
  • Backpack/tote/bag for carrying materials and swag
  • Something to take notes on
  • Phone for pictures and to exchange numbers with your new friends!
