The Academic Success Center offers many free workshops throughout the year to help new and continuing students succeed at Clemson. You can benefit from attending these workshops whether you’re:
- a new student trying to get off to a good start in your college career,
- a struggling student seeking to enhance your academic performance,
- or an already-successful student looking to take your success to the next level.

All Students: Success Strategy Workshops
Success strategy workshops cover a variety of success strategies students can implement to enhance their personal and academic performance. Covered within the success strategies workshop program are workshops on college success skills, time management and organizational skills, test-taking strategies, study strategies, finals preparation, life skills, and academic resources. Learn about the workshops offered.
The workshops are generally 45 minutes and are offered throughout the year. No matter your grades, you can learn something new at every workshop. Register for a workshop here.
New Students: Jumpstart Workshops (August Only)
Jumpstart workshops are designed to help new students make a successful transition to college-level course work. During the workshops, Clemson faculty and staff share strategies and tips for learning how to excel in difficult courses like math, science, and foreign language. Workshops on writing skills, conducting research, and general college success strategies are also offered. Jumpstart workshops are offered annually on the Tuesday before the start of fall semester classes. Register for a workshop here.
