Bachelor-to-Master's Combined Degree Program

Considering a master's degree? Why not stay a Tiger by considering the Bachelor-to-Master's (B.S./M.S.) combined degree program? The program allows you to "double count" up to twelve credit hours for undergraduate and graduate credit.

Program benefits:

  • Automatic admission into the Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAcc) program.
  • Waiver of the MPAcc GMAT requirement.
  • No application fee.
  • Reduction of course load while in the MPAcc program, allowing more time to study for the CPA exam.
  • Ability to use your undergraduate scholarships to pay for up to twelve MPAcc credit hours.
  • Option to complete the MPAcc program in less time.
  • Option to save tuition in the MPAcc program.

Students meeting all of the following requirements are eligible to apply for the B.S./M.S. program:

  • A current Clemson student
  • Have completed at least 90 credit hours
  • Have earned a minimum overall GPA of 3.4

Additional information:

  • The MPAcc program is in downtown Greenville, and all courses are taught in person. Interested students need to plan to commute to Greenville.
  • The total credit hours for the bachelor's and master's degrees must be at least 150.
  • Students must meet the MPAcc program's required prerequisites. See the MPAcc handbook for details.

Next steps:

  • You don't have to wait until to meet the above requirements; in fact, the earlier you start discussing your interest, the more options you will have once you are eligible.
  • Discuss your interest with your primary advisor.
  • Schedule a meeting with Jimmy Barnes, MPAcc B.S./M.S. coordinator.
