Arash Dayani
Assistant Professor
Arash Dayani, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of finance at Clemson University's Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business. His research mainly focuses on empirical corporate finance and asset management. He earned his Ph.D. in finance at the University of Oregon, Lundquist College of Business in 2020. Currently, he teaches financial management to undergraduate students at Clemson.

Corbin Fox
Assistant Professor
Corbin Fox, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of finance at Clemson University. His research expertise lies at the intersection of social media, short selling and the impact on financial markets. Fox has notable work published in top-tier journals like the Journal of Financial Economics. His pioneering research on the influence of social media on bank run risk has been featured extensively in major global media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Financial Times and CNN. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Tennessee and earned both his M.S. and B.S. in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University.

David Fraser
Lecturer
David Fraser joined the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University in August 2025 as a Lecturer in Finance. His previous experience includes 33 years within the Coca-Cola system, where he held various finance and accounting leadership roles. He received a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin in 1987, an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1991, and a DBA from the University of Florida in 2024. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA). His research interests include corporate finance, firm earnings and valuation, and performance management.

Daniel Greene
Bill Short Associate Professor, Associate Professor
Daniel Greene, Ph.D., is the Bill Short Associate Professor of Finance at the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business. His research interests include corporate finance, specifically mergers and acquisitions, boards of directors and the application of artificial intelligence. His research has been published in academic journals such as the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Management Science and the Journal of Law and Economics. His work has been featured in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Bloomberg, and has been presented at prestigious conferences, including the annual meetings of the American Finance Association and the European Finance Association. He is an associate editor of Financial Management. He teaches Financial Institutions and Markets, and Professional Financial Planning, and was awarded the Innovation in Teaching Award from the Financial Management Association. He is a certified professional financial planner and previously worked in the insurance industry. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his Ph.D. from Georgia State University.

Harrison Ham
Assistant Professor
Harrison received his doctorate in finance and a master's in economics from the University of Georgia and has since been researching faculty in the finance department at Clemson. His research focuses on the intersection of machine learning and asset pricing, with an emphasis on the way investors process information and form expectations. In teaching, he leverages his quantitative asset pricing experience to guide the student investment fund and draws on his economics background to refresh students on the mathematical concepts they need to succeed in the M.S. Finance program.

Vincent J. Intintoli
Master of Science in Finance (MSF) Program Director, Associate Professor
Vincent Intintoli, Ph.D., is an associate professor of finance and the Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program director at Clemson University. Intintoli's research centers on topics relating to corporate governance, with a particular focus on boards of directors, executive turnover and regulation. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Arizona, where he also earned his M.S. and B.S. degrees in finance. Intintoli has published in highly regarded academic journals, including the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Corporate Finance and Financial Management. His research has been cited in the press by publications such as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Politico, Bloomberg, USA Today, Time, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle and The Sacramento Bee and presented at international conferences such as the Western Finance Association (WFA), Financial Management Association (FMA), Midwest Finance Association (MFA) and Southern Finance Association (SFA) annual meetings. Intintoli teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs at Clemson.

Ronald Klotter, CFA
Lecturer
Ron has over 40 years of experience in the investment management industry. Most recently, Ron served as a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Foundation and Institutional Advisors (FIA) group of Northern Trust, where he managed $1.3 billion for 26 clients, including several of FIA's largest and most influential clients. His experience includes serving as Director of Equity Product Management for Wellington Management Company and as a Partner with Invesco Capital Management. Ron worked with large institutional consulting clients at Ennis Knupp, RVK, and Ellwood Associates, where his responsibilities included helping clients develop investment policies, select investment managers and monitor investment programs.
Ron graduated from Miami University (Ohio) Cum Laude with a B.S. in Finance and has an MBA from J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Designation. Ron and his wife Julie relocated to South Carolina in 2024 and previously taught two semesters of FIN 3050 (Investments) at Clemson University.

Lily Shen
Associate Professor
Lily Shen, Ph.D., is an associate professor of real estate finance at Clemson University and a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Banks. After witnessing the 2008 financial crisis, she dedicated her career to advancing real estate research aimed at fostering more resilient financial systems. Leveraging her experience in Silicon Valley, she has been at the forefront of integrating AI into real estate teaching and research. Her work has been featured in The Economist and The Washington Post, and has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Management Science and the Journal of Urban Economics.

Blerina Bela Zykaj
Associate Professor
Bela Zykaj, Ph.D., is an associate professor of finance at Clemson University. Previously, she served as an Assistant Professor of Finance at both Clemson University and the University of Toledo. Zykaj earned her Ph.D. in Finance from Washington State University and her M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Idaho. At Clemson, she teaches courses on investments and derivatives, as well as financial risk management, which align with her research interests. Her research primarily focuses on institutional investors, including hedge funds, mutual funds and exchange-traded funds and their impact on financial markets. Recently, her research has concentrated on the effects of institutional investors' disciplinary history on their investee firms.
Zykaj has been published in esteemed academic journals, including the Journal of Business Ethics, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Management Science and the Journal of Accounting and Public Policy. Her work has also been accepted for presentation at notable conferences, including the Western Finance Association (WFA) Annual Meetings, the European Finance Association (EFA) Meeting, the Society for Financial Studies (SFS) Finance Cavalcade and the Financial Management Association (FMA) Annual Meetings.
An interesting fact about Zykaj is that she is originally from Albania and has many family members living in Italy, whom she visits annually. She speaks English, Albanian and Italian.
