Clemson Finance Research Conference
April 17-18, 2026
The Department of Finance at Clemson University's Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business is pleased to announce the 2026 Clemson Finance Research Conference to be held in Clemson, South Carolina, from Friday, April 17, through Saturday, April 18, 2026.
The conference welcomes papers from all areas, including corporate finance, asset pricing, investment, banking, asset management, household finance, labor economics, behavioral finance, Fintech and real estate. Past conference programs are available for viewing for 2022 and 2024.
The conference aims to provide an intimate setting that will facilitate discussion and the exchange of ideas. The conference format will also facilitate interactions in a more informal setting. In addition to Friday and Saturday academic sessions at the College, the program includes a Friday conference dinner at Calhoun Corners.
The conference program will consist of 8-10 papers in regular sessions. The submission deadline is March 10, 2026. Decisions are expected by March 20, 2026. The submission fee for each regular session submission is $75. You may submit multiple papers.

Transportation and lodging:
Clemson University is located one hour away from Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (GSP) and two hours away from Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL). Ride-sharing apps, such as Uber, are the best option for ground transportation from GSP. However, a rental car is a better choice from ATL.
There are two accommodation options within walking distance of the Clemson campus and the College.
