The 4-H Pinckney Leadership Conference is one of South Carolina’s premier programs for youth leadership development geared towards rising 10th and 11th-grade students. Housed at Clemson University, students will enjoy the following activities:

Become a Junior Counselor
Want to return to 4-H Pinckney Leadership Conference in a new leadership role? Then you should apply to be a Junior Counselor! Applications are open to students who attended the 2022 4-H Pinckney Leadership Conference.
Junior Counselors will get the opportunity to work with program staff and summer interns to help make this experience exciting for all. You can find the application below. For any additional questions, please contact sc4hplp@clemson.edu.

Scholarships
The 4-H Pinckney Leadership Scholarship is now open to all 4-H Pinckney Leadership High School Seniors! To qualify, you must have attended the 4-H Pinckney Leadership conference (housed at Clemson University), and have plans on continuing your education post-high school graduation. Applications open in the spring for awards in the fall, and there is an opportunity to keep this scholarship through four years of schooling upon reapplication each Spring semester. The scholarship amount is $1,500 a year.

Citizenship Washington Focus
Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) is National 4-H Council's premier leadership and civic engagement experience for high school students. Through Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF), teens experience Washington D.C. like never before. Using the nation’s capital as their classroom, CWF connects young leaders from across the country to gain the skills and experiences to become effective change agents. The Citizenship Washington Focus Trip application is open to all high school-aged 4-H Pinckney Leaders who have participated in our conference on the campus of Clemson University.
