Through the GRAD 360° program, the Clemson University Graduate School provides comprehensive resources dedicated to educating and developing the necessary skills for future professionals and leaders in the global economy.

GRAD 360° give trainees a structured way to develop and track their proficiency in the academic, personal, and professional focus areas known as "The Tiger 9." The program tailors trainee's development goals to meet their unique needs and interests.

A2i is a national model for workforce and career development, which offers a broad range of activities, including networking events, discussion panels, presentations, development workshops, company site visits, and internships. A2i modules offer training in the following key business and professional areas:

• Corporate cultural awareness and cross-cultural competency
• Leadership, communication, and teamwork
• Market and technology evaluation
• Intellectual property and regulatory affairs
• Commercializing research

The Graduate Center for Transformational Mentorship (GCTM) is an innovative center
formed by the Graduate School with Dr. Karen High serving as the inaugural director. EPScan access resources focused on leadership and mentorship through the GCTM, as well as participate in trainings offered by the Center.

The English Language Programs (ELP) is here to support international postdocs and scholars at Clemson. We offer resources to help you improve your English, connect with the campus community, and feel at home.

Get helpful language tips, resources, and event updates through our bi-weekly Keys to
English newsletter. Practice your speaking skills through Conversation Pairs, where you are matched with fellow scholars, students, or staff for casual, one-on-one conversations.
You can also join English Connections, a relaxed group setting designed for practicing
English, meeting new people, and sharing ideas.

The Office of Teaching Effectiveness and Innovation (OTEI) provides an added level of support and guidance for academic specialists in their professional pursuits, with our primary focus of encouraging inclusive, evidence-based teaching practices.

PEPS can apply for up to $500 in travel grant funding each academic year (August 1–July 31) to support presenting their research at conferences, poster sessions, workshops, and more. Funding is reimbursement-based and must be used within the award year. Eligible applicants are Clemson faculty with a Ph.D. in a postdoctoral or early professional scholar role. Priority is given to applicants without other Clemson funding, those who have not previously received a grant, and those from departments or facilities not yet funded.

Clemson’s Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) offers a range of resources to support the job search process, including access to CareerShift, GoinGlobal, and Clemson JobLink. All of these resources are free and accessible to Clemson Faculty, Staff, and Students at the CCPD website.

Artificial intelligence (AI) tools are becoming an integral part of research, teaching,  and professional development. PEPS encourages the thoughtful and responsible use of AI to support productivity, creativity, and learning in accordance with Clemson Policy.

Clemson University has multiple resources and guides on how to use AI within the University. It will be important in your role to understand where AI is allowed to be used and how to use it. We recommend reaching out to your place of work at Clemson to gain more information. You can also visit the AI at Clemson website to learn more.

The National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) supports postdocs nationwide through advocacy, resources, and professional development. At Clemson, the Postdoctoral and Early Professional Scholars (PEPS) program builds on this mission by offering workshops, mentorship, and a strong community. Scholars gain skills, networks, and opportunities that prepare them for success in academia, industry, and beyond.
