General Engineering

In this course, students will be introduced to the various engineering disciplines offered by Clemson University. Students will have the chance to participate in lab activities, tour Clemson engineering facilities, go on field trips to explore engineering in action, and use STEM kits to explore concepts of engineering. These activities bring awareness of engineering concepts and design, help develop an analytical and logical approach in solving engineering problems, and foster discussions on ethical, societal, and global engineering issues.

Course Specific Needs:

• Wear long pants (or skirts), closed-toe shoes, and garments that lack full/flowing sleeves
  or fringe during quarry field trip.
