Packaging Sciences

Our Packaging Sciences camp is a weeklong summer experience will allow students to take on a fun, hands-on design challenge--creating, refining, and testing their own packaging solution with guidance from Clemson Packaging Science students and faculty. Participants will tour our cutting-edge facilities, work in our laboratory spaces, and gain an inside look at how packaging shapes sustainability, product protection and consumer experiences. 

This course will also offer a first glimpse into Clemson's renowned 4.5-year Packaging Science program--one of only a few in the nation and home to the university's second-highest salary. It's a creative, interactive, and inspiring way to discover a major and career path you may not have even known existed!

Objectives:

By the end of this course, you will have the skill set to be able to:

Research competitive packaging within your market.

Develop a process for ideation and experimentation.

Understand and apply design best practices through prototyping.
